Yennefer asks Fringilla about her nightmares and if a robbed figure has appeared. “Kaer Morhen” cuts to Yennefer and Fringilla back at the Elven encampment. He walks away, leaving Ciri to finally settle on a room and for the first time, she pulls out the scarf her grandmother left her before the fall of Cintra. While you don’t need to know everything from the movie, it will give you tons of information on the past of Kaer Morhen and a better understanding of what Vesemir is talking about here. – I just want to make a note that if you haven’t watched The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, I highly suggest doing so. THE WITCHER 2 SUMMARY FULLVesemir warns him about sticking his head into court issues knowing full well what can happen. Geralt explains to Vesemir that Ciri hasn’t been truthful about everything and hopes that he can figure out who and what she is by spending time with her. While they are talking, Ciri is inside, trying to find a new room. It seems he knew about Geralt’s child of surprise and wasn’t a big fan of the choice. Later on, Geralt does some training before chatting with Vesemir about Ciri. And our princess drops the mic introducing herself to him. Vesemir reminds everyone that fire to the heart is what kills them, which makes Ciri laugh a bit, drawing the attention of Eskel. He shares about his fight with a leshy and how he would have killed her if he didn’t lose his elixirs. While they are celebrating, we also get the chance to see Eskel ( Basil Eidenbenz) make his return. It’s heartwarming to see Geralt reunite with the others, including Vesemir ( Kim Bodnia), Lambert ( Paul Bullion) and Coën ( Yasen Atour). Ciri questions Geralt and gets some answers before they head inside and meet with the rest of Geralt’s brethren. We cut to Geralt and Ciri as they arrive at Kaer Morhen. Franchesca wants them strung up but agrees to let them live for now at the behest of Filavandrel. She uses magic to knock a rather talkative Fringilla out before ripping into Yennefer when she tries to share that she, too, is a part Elven. They take them to see Franchesca ( Mecia Simson), who is unhappy with her gifts. It doesn’t seem like Filavandrel, or the other elves are interested in supplying them with any answers. We finally learn that their captures are the Elves as Filavandrel ( Tom Canton) opens the back of the cart.įringilla tries to get answers about what is going on when Yennefer spots a tower that looks similar to Aretuza. When Fringilla awakes, she realizes that they are moving away from Cintra and seem to be the only two alive. She awakens to find her and Fringilla trapped in an enclosed cart. They are together and she is pregnant and then the baby is there but on fire and being taken by someone in a red robe. “Kaer Morhen” opens with a delightful turned terrifying dream with Yennefer and Geralt.
